I don't think that is a fair way to gauge whether or not he is an enthusiast. I don't know how to change brake pads, nor am I comfortable enough to wrench on my own car. I just don't have the brain for it or the guts to try. But, I believe I am an enthusiast. I love my car. I waited 12 years until I was in a position to get one. I worked part time at a BMW dealership during college around the time when the E9x M3 was released and I knew one day I would have one.

Basically what I am trying to say is people enjoy these cars in different ways.


Anyway, let's get this back on topic. Since this is a for sale ad, and we have plenty of media on this vehicle's sordid past - OP I'll give ya $15k for the car with unknown interior, unknown wheels (does it come with wheels?), unknown accident history, and for all I know spoons for paddle shifters

i would also like to add, we are not attacking him as a person with mental health, we are attacking him as a person who is dishonest with his listing.

mental health is a serious issues world wide and we all acknowledge it, but it does not give you an excuse to be a dishonest pos.

it does not give you an excuse to sell something and not disclose everything that we our selves also know from his videos, there is nothing that can be said about that to defend his listing.

this is not an attack on mental health, but dishonesty from sellers. If he had just never made those videos none of us would've cared. if anything we would just make fun of him for selling his dream car for the 4th time.

This.. his screen name's "itsnotme" he assumes y'all know who he is and you do.. and anyone considering this car I would assume would watch the content on his channel regarding it… he's selling the kitchen sink right now… maybe give him the benefit of the doubt over the omitted details and consider everything negotiable. The problem is he's blatantly omitting information, key information, about the car's history. "Clean history", this car is anything but. It appears he's betting on people NOT knowing the history apparently. Or, he'd say please contact me regarding the condition of the car and I can walk you through my findings. Even in his videos, its speculation. Id rather see him be up front about it rather than hiding it. Ive sold 3 cars on here and you'd be surprised how many PMs I got from new members who don't frequent them often, especially those people looking for rare spec, highly desirable cars. Thats our problem, at least for me. Dont BS people, especially after making several videos about being honest when selling stuff.

Wow a lot to read. Anyway as potential buyer for E90, E92 M3s. This type of "calling" out really helps. Although this car wasn't in my radar but I was wondering why it was priced higher than other cars. As I was reading through, I recognized this original seller from Youtube vidoes I was watching.

Anyway I thank those guys who pointed out damages, new motor, supercharger, etc. I thank you even though this car was out of my price range.

You're completely missing the point that most people in this thread are trying to make. If you want to come on here and sell a car based on your YouTube channel or your IG then just put up one photo of the car, some salient facts, and then say "check out my YouTube channel and IG for full details". The way Spencer has chosen to present the car, on this forum, an enthusiast forum, is what people are annoyed about. Its just my personal opinion (and I did go see it when it was for sale up here in WA) but the car is a turd. He's lying to potential purchasers, both in what he's stated in post #1 and what he's omitted to say.

Seems legit.

Although.. it is possible that the potential buyer if there was one asked him to throw the e88s in with the sale and he probably realized it would be paper weight if he didn't agree to that so he sold it with them on and just marked his ads for the wheels as sold. Who knows at this point… but if I was him and since he preaches about his reputation being everything it's probably in his best interest to address all this flame that's come his way regarding all of this.

Not only are the posts for the car and the wheels disingenuous, they’re also just really, really dumb. Why would you make a bunch of content talking about how fucked up your car and wheels are, then list said items for sale on an enthusiast forum, which is ostensibly your primary audience for said content, without mentioning any of those issues? Somebody on Autotrader might not know any better, but people on here sure as shit did.

Also, trying to get a premium number for a car with holes drilled into the trunk is laughable. I’m sure that was totally worth the 2 months the car had the giant stupid wing in it.
