FS: 2010 e90 M3 - Manual - Bumper to Bumper Warranty

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
Thanks so much for all the interest, and I'm happy to say that my (now ex-)e90 has been sold to a fellow forum member!

Up for sale is my 2010 e90 M3. I’m the second owner, and I purchased this car in August 2016 from Advantage BMW in Clear Lake, Texas. During my ownership, besides the basic maintenance I’ve done myself, the M3 has only been serviced at Erhard BMW in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan (side note: these guys are fantastic!).

General Information:
  • 2010 BMW e90 M3
  • 4 door
  • 6 speed manual
  • 90,000 miles
  • Exterior: 8/10
  • Interior: 9.5/10
  • Bumper to Bumper Warranty – Through August 2021 or ~118,000 miles
  • EDC Dampers
  • Premium Sound System
  • Fold Down Rear Seat
  • $24,000 with only the Style 220s
  • $25,000 with both the Style 220s and Style 359s

This M3 has been the best car I’ve ever owned, and I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to enjoy it, look after it, and check one of the “dream cars” off the list! So, “why sell the M3?” you ask. I obtained my Private Pilot’s License late last year, and I have absolutely fallen in love with flying. So, I’m in the process moving money out of cars in into airplanes. I’m going to miss this M3 dearly, and I’m hoping to see it go to a good home. So, please feel free to reach out to me with any questions! I can be reached on here or via call or text at (832) 867-7785.

Thanks for looking!

-Vincent

Beautiful car and really love the Black exterior paired with Tan interior it really pops!

You would have mentioned it, so I am guessing the rod bearings have not been done?

GLWS!

Thanks, br2wdc! The bamboo interior wasn't my first choice going in, but now that I've lived with it, I wouldn't have had it any other way!

You are correct. Neither the throttle actuators or rod bearings have been replaced. However, my most recent Blackstone oil analysis shows that my S65 is in above average health, and both items are covered by the warranty. Of course, I understand that's not as good as them simply being replaced. Before deciding to sell the M3, the plan was to replace both the day the warranty expires.

Yes, my car also has the notorious "Bamboo Beige", and I actually considered passing on my car simply because of the interior color

Thank god I'm not an idiot and purchased the car, because it has started to grow on me, though I'm not quite at your "wouldn't have it any other way" level just yet

Yeah, I was in a similar position when I bought because I was dead set on the silver interior (I'm a huge fan of light interiors), but I'm glad that made the buy because it grew on me very quickly! I even prefer the wood trim now...

Hmm, quite. Although I would contend that it postures itself more precisely as a dignified hooligan.

Indeed

The better term for me would be "classic" or "timeless" spec, but to each his own

I got out for a drive this afternoon since it's a beautiful day, and I figured I would grab some real world pictures of the car. It's a bit dirty, but this is basically what the car will look like when you own it!

As you can see in the gauge cluster shot, there is a warning for the TPM system. That is because the 359s have 08-09 sensors, which don't work with '10+... The 220s are the original wheels, their sensors work, and the warning goes away with them mounted.

I also took some detailed shots of the little imperfections that I give the M3 an 8/10 exterior and 9.5/10 interior for. In order, they are:
  • A spattering of small rock chips across the front of the hood
  • About an inch of curb rash on the driver's front wheel
  • A grouping of a few small dings on the passenger's rear door
  • A small chip on the lower rear corner of the driver's door
  • Slight wear on the outer driver's seat bolster
  • Slight wear on the shift knob and a couple scratches on the center console lower plastic
