First look at the Ess g2 blower. First I would like to say, this is not an upgrade for everyone. If you haven't managed 620-650whp on a vortech v3 or g1 you are wasting your own money asking to make this jump.

Things to keep in mind.

Going this route will remove any support you would receive from Ess.

This g2 blower is rated for more power than any s65 block in the US has ever made.

So before you jump on the I must have this upgrade band wagon realize as a stock motor you are further risking hurting your motor and without modification to your fuel system you will never be able to utilize the potential of this blower.

This blower is not quiet, doesn't look or sound oem, if you are looking for weekend cruiser I get on it every once in. A blue moon this is not for you,

As many of you know from my previous thread. My car is on full E85.

FULL E85 with SC M3 Complete https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1724632

This is honestly the only reason the motor is able to survive the increases cylinder pressure at the boost being run on this setup. Or my previous.

With that said. First video is the unboxing of the g2 blower from Ess

Second video installation, start up, reving , short pull on the g2 enjoy.

Like and subscribe, if there are other videos you would like me to make on what is done to the car or how I am running a particular mod please send me a message or drop a comment on the YouTube channel.

For some reason the photo did not display correctly on the video so I will upload photos of the g2 next to the v3 in the comments below.

My apologize on the music volume in the second video. I did not realize how well the mic on the go pro would pick it up. I'll make sure to have it turned down or off on the next videos as so not to distract from the content.

Kinda hard comparison to make with the weather difference and da from nyc to Texas mid summer but 40 on these tires is pointless. On my r888rs I can roll the throttle but even in 90 degree temps at night right now quite hard to do hits from 40. 30 in 2nd is bit more manageable as the car does start off in the peak of the band.

No we have found that increasing line pressure and not driving like a tool bag the clutches are lasting even at 115k miles at this power level while people were spinning their factory ones making less.

How are you increasing the line pressures?
Line pressure is increased through ecu flash not coding. Now what exact metric rk tunes is using for doing this you will have to ask him. How ever my trans pressure is being requested 1bar higher than what's available for a gts car.

ill nip at your heels a bit once my new setup is tuned, but I have a feeling ill be ditching the vf setup for the ess g2 this winter. keep pushing the platform forward, there are a few of us still here with similar intentions.
