Why would you pay 2,500 for rods that were not BE? What are they using instead?

Got mine done at active autowerke. With motors mounts and alignment, came out to ~$3k. Have less than 100 miles on the new ones but seems like they did a good job.

When I move into my new place and get settled in. I will be doing Rod Bearings myself. This job doesn't look that difficult honestly. I will see how it goes the first go round. If not I will be back looking in here!

Active did mine a few years ago. Good investment. You can tell the difference as the motor spins more freely.

Ravani Motors in Hollywood quoted $1700 with ACL bearings, bolts extra. Similar price from Euromotive Performance in Hallandale when you include the the bolts. Active wanted $3450
