Picked up my M3, with some Southern BM goodness
The car was in Melbourne, so before I even saw it, Andrew @ Southern BM worked his magic by installing their SBM Stage 1 Performance Kit as well as LCI tail lights, bmw performance steering wheel and kidney grills. What a great guy and awesome workshop - he had about 6 supercharged M3's hanging around and he squeezed my car in at short notice, working till late to get the job done I wish there were workshops like that up here!!
SBM M3 Stage 1 Performance Kit
The tune and intake throw down an extra 20whp and have definately given it more low end pickup I've noticed. The Challenge Engineering front half of the exhaust should free up a further 20whp so I'm keen to see the difference when it arrives. Did I mention the Eisenmann sounds so good, quite loud, but in an exotic, non holden way. Just a big filthy BMW V8 http://www.southernbm.com.au/ Hopefully Andrew has a few more photos, because I don't have many yet Last edited by MFKN3; 04-12-2011 at 04:24 AM.. |

Nice one! Good to see you're loving the exhaust, I've had mine for just over a week now and done around 300kms on it and loving it just as much as you!!
What year is your M3, and did he have any trouble coding the LCI rear lights? I just ordered a set of the LCI rear lights in and I'll need someone in melb to code them for me...

I just replied with some images and video on the other thread.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=515207 Hi Taaxed, If your M3 is late, ie)10 then the FRM3 can be recoded properly by me, and you never have to worry about it again, The retrofit path codes about 5 other control units in the car and writes it to the vehicle order. If you have an early car then i can reconfigure your module for the LCI lights so you do not get check errors. ( But this will have to be redone if you get updates from BMW) Or you could buy an FRM3 and go that way. |

I recently fitted the Challenge X-Pipe + Hi Flow Cat front pipes and holy hell it's loud. Definately a bit quicker too and no codes thanks to the SBM tune. Here's an older video comparing just the eisemann sport and race. I think with the challenge sport, it's now about 2-3x louder |

How loud is the Race? Any idea on dB? And what is legal in Victoria again? 88?
