New Performance Steering wheel
Not sure if you guys have seen this, but I figured I'd share for those who haven't. Pretty cool video showing some of the functions of the new performance steering wheel.

I take it you are not a fan. Although it is cool, $1700 for a steering wheel is pretty darn pricey.

I agree, less is better in this case.

Death Star called, it's missing one of their weapons engineers...
The uniform and creeper haircut blows his cover. Oh yes, the wheel is nice, but not where I'd spend a couple Gs.

I rather hear the engine then look at the flashy lights too tell me when to shift.

I also enjoy the fact that it will record your elapsed time not only for the quarter mile, but for a furlong! I do think that the shift lights on the top of the wheel would be helpful in a track setting, though. I've bumped into the soft limiter more than once during a trackday.

There's a pic of it in an E9X interior...

What I don't like the most of the flat bottom...just don't like it. And the wheel needs to be leather. Alcantara is too much of a PIA. Leather is more soft and supple for long drives.

Agreed! This could be busy and distracting at track speeds.
