Anyone in CLT, specifically Cornelius?

I'm from the Pocono Mountain Chapter - interested in learning of the local BMW CCA Chapter as well as the best Tracks.

Thanks Everyone for the responses! Glad to see the area is Active! I welcome meeting other BMW faithful and geting into the community. Wife and I just bought a place in Cornelius off of Jetton Road, Lake Norman.

I've been active in the NE with my local Chapter (Pocono BMW CCA) and Track Events (NJ BMW CCA and DelVal BMW CCA).

Would like to get together in the spring when we begin to move. We've always had a yearly cookout at our house for the local Chapter. I'll monitor this and the other threads for dates.

I'll send you an invite when we do another mountain run. There are some seriously amazing roads in this area that IMO blows Tail of the Dragon out of the water

We'll be around. We don't make it too huge of a deal or anything. We just try to set it on a weekend when everyone is free and the weather is nice, go for a drive, grab some lunch, take a few pics.

The key is to avoid all the touristy roads (which is what tail of the dragon is), because there will be too much traffic and cops everywhere. There are so many backroads and short sections that I really enjoy up by 276N and Blue Ridge Parkway.

Oh and the view is not bad either:

Late notice, I know, but the local Cars & Coffee is tomorrow morning and the 1st Saturday of every month downtown at the Music Factory. Usually a pretty nice turnout when the weather cooperates.

E90 and E30 still are in PA but would welcome learning if there are any meets scheduled. As long as nobody laughs at my rental car!

Sadly the Hertz Rental car of choice the past 4 trips has been a Buick.
I need to find out if the CLT Hertz has the M5!

Hey guys. Not sure if any of you are planning on heading over to the Metrolina/Eurowise 1 Year Anniversary thing Saturday, but I figured I'd post it up for those who didn't know about it. Weather looks pretty nasty with rain all day Saturday, but I may still try to get up there since they have a pretty large indoor area/showroom. Here are the details:

4 pm - 8 pm

Metrolina Auto Group

Metrolina Auto Group and Eurowise will be celebrating their 1 year anniversary at the new location "The Compound"

There will be lots of exciting thing to check out during the open house. Starting at 4pm and ending at 8pm but The Compound will be open to public the entire day.

At 6pm we have a Tiger and a Girraffe coming to to visit us again from last year.

We will have free food, drinks and lots of exotic cars on display and entertainment.
