She's 7 years old today
Bought her brand new in 2013. It's been a great 7 years but I'm looking forward to something new this year. She's the best car I've ever owned so she's never leaving the family tho. I modded her a lot last year and it's been difficult going because I'm trying to mod it with spare parts. I have all the stock parts in storage (ie. headlights, plenum, bumper, seats, trunk, etc,...) so those won't get destroyed and she can go back stock form. This year she'll probably get rod bearings, CF drive shaft and a 4.11 diff.
My StudioRSR roll bar is in. BTW, they are a horrible company to deal with. They are quick to take your money and then they ghost...and I'm not the only one, read their yelp reviews. Roll bar is decent however I like their mount points and it's very rear seat delete friendly. I had it sent raw so my body shop guy could do it in fire orange. DSC06695 by michael lee, on Flickr Dyed my Limited Edition Sparco SPX's stitch orange. I didn't have the balls to dye the center alcantara section stitching yet however. DSC06593 by michael lee, on Flickr OE Euro M4 GTS Fire Extinguisher.. Thanks to IND for importing this. rollbar8 by michael lee, on Flickr DSC06704 by michael lee, on Flickr Rear seat delete was made by Hanbin and fits perfectly. Hanbin is the guy that was selling that new front bumper design (he might have gotten banned) DSC06589 by michael lee, on Flickr I looked all over and Racetech was the only company to offer orange harnesses. The car will see track time this summer probably as an instruction car. DSC06473 by michael lee, on Flickr DSC06609 by michael lee, on Flickr Fall-line harness collars..she likes the name brands DSC06709 by michael lee, on Flickr Her good luck charm DSC06701 by michael lee, on Flickr Tired of the ridicule from big wang haters so I found a set of OE M4 GTS uprights and the wing now sits ~3" lower and ~2" further back. I think the design on the OE M4 GTS uprights are better than the Vorsteiner uprights. The bottom seems to be more rear biased as well for better stability. I also added the OE trunk lip on there that most people throw away so it appears even lower from the rear. It looks more GT-ish to me now. DSC06678 by michael lee, on Flickr Replaced the Brembo GT rotors and pads too at a cost of ~$2300. The downside of having nice brakes i guess DSC06698 by michael lee, on Flickr Got my CF Eventuri plenum last Sept. Took me a bit to get used to it. At first I didn't think it did anything until one day I floored it above 3K RPM and got the shock of my life. The induction sound is like nothing i've ever heard and can get downright "violent." DSC06507 by michael lee, on Flickr I got #21 DSC06442 by michael lee, on Flickr I got my Bayoptiks built headlights last July and all was good until recently. Passenger side already needs to get re-sealed I went through a touchless wash and fried the adaptive module. Going to try and reseal this myself as it's going to be an absolute pain in the ass to send it back to Bayoptiks. index16 by michael lee, on Flickr I thought these Tecnocraft headlight access covers would help but water still got in somehow. DSC06219 by michael lee, on Flickr DSC06258 by michael lee, on Flickr One last question.. I got these floor mats from a user named "jezzer" from the UK a long time ago. It looks like he's been banned. After 7 years I wore a hole through one of them and would love to buy another set. anyone know how to get a hold of him? Awesome build...so clean!
Ironic, I recently had to file a dispute with my CC company to retrieve my money. As you said it was all ears and responses when taking my payment but after that it's been hell. Their cages are awesome but I won't be doing business with them ever. |

Thank you for the positive comments guys..
So instead of trying to track down Jezzer to get another set of custom floor mats I decided to try these OE ///M Performance floor mats made for F22/F87 2 series.. They fit E92's perfectly and I think they look alright.. They are made of nylon or something and cleans easy with just a cloth and water.. They are pretty tough, I don't think any holes will be worn in them for a very long time. |

Updates 3/2020
I managed to score a set of Varis Hypercanards for e92 m3.. My "holy grail" mod that I could never find since 2009 or so because there were only a few sets made before they were discontinued. Also scored a new unmounted Arkym Aerosport Front lip and rare 3D Designs foot rest.
I updated all the rusted hardware on the canards DSC07072 Fantastic fit on the Arkym lip. DSC07085 DSC07087 After a spray, e92 m3 in it's natural environment..the gas station DSC07089 Golden hour DSC07093 DSC07113 misfocused DSC07107 3D Designs Footrest DSC06993 |

Well, I still am rocking them but I refinished them in gunmetal recently because the polished lip look was looking a little bit dated with the rim.
