Trade in on high mileage E92? Or not...

I have a 2010 DKG coupe with 150,000 clicks on it. Dealer is offering $30,000, which I think is pretty good. It is $5000 more than they offered me at 120,000 k.! On the other hand I'm underwhelmed by the F80 and don't want the F82. I might just buy a 2015 GTI and hang on to the E92. Thoughts?

If you like your M3,why not just keep it as the majority of the depreciation has already happened and with another car your milege accumulation will slow down.I had an E28 M5 that I drove for about 20000 kms and sold it to have it come back into my hands again 8 years later with 250000 kms.Drove it for a while and it was still as much fun to drive to drive as when it was new in 1988.
