The BMW Individual program is not available in the states. Special orders are somewhat available, but they are subject to the approval of BMWNA, distribution, and AG. Just because you will pay does not mean you will get the allocation and approval. You can be denied several times for your requests, and may even be denied something that another person was approved for. At the moment, special interiors are not available. If the jump in price of paint price is any indication, from $2000 to $5000, then expect even more for interior should it ever become avail. for order.

Makes no sense whatsoever.
To OP: nice M and also an attractive part of Auckland; love the harbour in the distance.

Posting first set of photos of my new toy (more to come, after the seasons change). It's already been properly 'exercised' during its break-in period -- is 'Tail of the Dragon' at 170 miles some kind of record? -- and it's a mightily impressive beast (as all of you know).
A special thanks to the guys who chose Moonstone before me and posted pics of their cars. I made my decision based on your outstanding images. It's awesome how the pearlescent effect really shows Bangle's 'flame surfacing' at its best.

Enjoy the Moonstone it is an awesome color and the longer you have it the more you will like it! P.S. I have some Moonstone reflectors on the way from Ilia@IND for my front bumper and will not be needing them because I bought a European Front Bumper Cover. You can have them if you want them! Just pay the shipping!

Thanks guys for all the positive feedback!
BCA, I deleted the rear spoiler for a cleaner look (plus it's easier to wax and wipe dry, from my experience with my E39 M5). Overlord, I totally agree -- I'm not planning to black out anything (nor add chrome, for that matter). I see no reason to do so (nor any reason to make it look meaner, more aggressive, etc). BMRLVR, offer on the reflectors accepted -- will PM you. Amarone should look great with Moonstone. I decided I'd spent enough on the paint, so stuck with standard interior color. I have CSL reps waiting to be mounted (spacers on their way), so our new rides will look a lot alike on the outside -- as if we'll pass each other on the highway (lol). Biglare, will do. Limiting the mods to 'track day necessities': brake pads/fluid/lines, camber plates, R compound tires on 18" rims, and harnesses. Lots of clear 3M film (front clip, rockers, rear bumper, mirrors). Plus the aforementioned CSL reps which were previously on my 335i. BMW painstakingly engineered the M3 in the first place, so I don't feel compelled to mess with it any further.

Rockrboy, it's gray (Novillo Silver) with aluminum trim. BTW, I too have an X3 (my DD, especially this time of year).
