MFest 2015

Hey everyone,

The dates are official! MFest will be April 17-19 in Las Vegas. Registration goes live March 13th at registermfest.com

Its Stephen with the E46 M3 that has organized the MFest caravans before. I have spoken with Chris and MFest will be the Third weekend of April next year. I know its early but I am going through MFest withdrawals!

Chris said the hotel will either be the Palazzo or maybe the Wynn, both great hotels! All the events will be the same, drag racing, track, car show and club events!

Also the event is accepting all types of cars not just Bmws, so tell your friends that have other cars!

I have spoken with several Bmw groups from Nebraska and Kansas and they have committed several cars to MFest. Since only a few went last year I would love to get a big contingent this year! I will also be creating a Facebook group as the event gets closer to info everyone of the plans.

Hi Stephen...I'm in as of now, seeing as I did not go last year. It is early, but if the weather/road conditions at the time do not permit safe travel via 70, then the southern route is certainly an option. I would have that as a contingency plan. Thanks for organizing this.

Ben,

Ill put you on the list. After I spoke with Chris, he said the dates would fall close to mid April like following years. We will probably not get a solid date until Jan 1st.

Once we get closer I am going to put together a FB group for everyone so we can all chat and have one meeting place to share info.

I have heard from multiple people that they will be attending since most of us missed it this past year. So we should have a pretty big caravan plus a few people from Kansas city will be joining us.

I did confirm we will be staying back on the strip as usual but either at the Palazzo or the Wynn, depending on what Chris can negotiate.

The show is at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. If you want to attend you have to register.

Just heard from the event organizer the hotel everyone will stay at is the new SLS Hotel! Anyone have experiences with this hotel?

I stayed there in January for a night (picked up my E92 and drove it home the next day). It's removed from the strip somewhat (which I was okay with).Amenities were nice. Modern/contemporary. I'd definitely stay there again. In-room mini-bar had a good selection of booze to choose from.

Thanks for the info! Was the staff nice? How big of a hotel is it compared to the Palazzo?

It's a smaller hotel. Almost boutique-y. Staff was professional and still accommodating. Still had several restaurants that looked good - since I was only there one night, I only managed a bar stop and breakfast the next morning.
