Has anyone heard about New BMW programming?

After i got my car back from the dealer, i cannot drive without seatbelts on. It automatically changes to \"N\" when i hit the accel. Without seatbelts on.

Plus, the car keep gives me a warning message (The car is not engaged to \"P\", car may rolling somthing like this) everytime i put \"N\" gear even with seatbelts on. So, i went back to dealer to find out what was going on my car, but they told me that there is nothing wrong with my car. It is just a NEW BMW programming.

Is anyone has same things like me???

By the way, my car is 2009 M3 with Double clutch.

Thanks

My car was upgraded a few months ago (two or three) and i do not have the same issues you are experiencing. My Service Advisor said the software update was to version 2.41.4.

How do you check your program version?

Just received the software update in my 2009 M3 with DCT and found the same thing with the seatbelt issue. Pretty ridiculous IMHO.

I have exhaustively searched the forums and cannot find the answer. What is the newest software version for our cars? (The one causing this issue)

Thanks

v 2.43 is the latest and pretty much everyone that has DCT and went to dealer got that. Mine did as well. There isn't a coding change that i know of that can revert back yet. But i'm sure with time someone will come up with a solution.
