Do you mean the DRL's? Probably turned off via the IDrive interface.

It seems like this M3 has very high ground clearance. Did anyone think the same?

No, not the daytime running lights, the small auxiliary lights built into the corners of the front spoiler. Do you have to go and buy your own lights from Pia and Hella?

Its alright, too bad its a little unproportioned. From the front quarter angle it doesnt look good at all, slim front fat rear.

Ohhh, you mean the fog lights. The ///M cars don't have fogs.

I agree, that's why I like the e90 headlights better. Not as feline.

The Auxiliary Lights/Fog Lights are deleted so that the BMW V8 can utilize those ducts for more air intake.

I would love to see how it compares. Amazing how close this is to what was now just released. I really like your rear pshop even better than the real thing, much more aggressive IMO.

that is my photoshop you see there. i already knew that the e90 m3 would look this way. i knew it would have the same front end as the e92 with the body of a e90. call it luck but it worked. everything is identical minus the rear wing. i used an AC schnitzer e90 to photoshop the new M3 sedan.

Doesn't bother me at all.. After going from E46 M3 to an E90 sedan thats one thing I dont miss. I cant tell you how many times I had hit my bumper on the E46.

Maybe I'll have to get used to it, warm up to it.

But initial impressions
I have to agree. Not as fresh looking as I would have hoped for. Since I'm currently driving an E90, not sure if getting this new M would excite me enough to spring for the extra money - looks too 3ish - not aggressively unique enough IMO. I think the C63 and RS4 are a step up in looks and style .....but .....maybe not in performance. Oh well, decisions, decisions......

I went to the MB dealer this weekend. I wanted to see the C63 AMG...but it's not out yet.
My feelings exactly. I've had a deposit down since July 2005 and might walk away from my number one position on the list unless I can warm up to this new iteration. Like you, I will be taking a trip to the MB dealer in the Spring to check out the C63... Never thought I would ever say such a thing..
