The E90 M3 DOES NOT have a carbon fibre roof but the Coupe does. No normal e90 has it either.

Looks like only the E92 M3 coupe will have it. Not sure about the E93 cabrio. No sunroof on either hard top model.

Can someone tell me how much the e90 M3 and e92 M3 weigh, respectively? Will it make much of a difference in performance?

Check out the scanned article over here. At 3531 lbs, the sedan weighs about 25 lb more than the coupe (guess that carbon fibre roof on the coupe does save a bit of weight). The difference is 0.1 second longer 0-60 for the sedan.

I don't think that's attributable to the CF roof necessarily since the 335i coupe also weighs 25lbs less than the the 335i sedan. Not sure if Autoweek realized this.

Autoweek might well be off in their estimates anyway. We'll see what the official number turns out to be from BMW. If the coupe really ends up being 3506 lbs then that is only a 94lb gain from the official number for the E46 M3. That would be excellent if true.
