What guarantee's do you offer for the carbon fiber parts? I have seen carbon fiber parts that have horrible weaves, do you offer a solution for this? Are these parts guaranteed to have perfect weave without any pulls or stretches?

I've seen many companies offer carbon fiber parts (VIS) with horrible weaves and offer no replacement.

A fine point, but most gurantees come from the manufacturer, not the vendor.

LOL search up vorsteiner dude, they're legit, or historically they have been. i see no reason for them to ruin their reputation over a scam like that

I know I almost bought their e46 CF hood for my e46 a while back. But you never know when you can get a lemon. I had a problem with VIS a long while back in 2003 with a e36 trunk lid. Had some serious trouble trying to get them to replace a trunk that came cracked to me. other then that it was perfect.

In fact I am mostly curious about how nice the weave is laid on the bends as that can be difficult.

If they can match the roof weave, that would be great. Wouldn't want two different looks.

Vorsteiner fully backs and guarantees their product against defects in the weave, clearcoat and fitment. Each piece comes with a full factory back 1 year limited warranty and full satisfaction is guaranteed. In addition, Vorsteiner now supplies an authenticity card with each purchase which allows them to keep track of each part produced and is your proof that you purchased an authentic Vorsteiner component. Vorsteiner is one of the few companies to use Dry Vacuum form production which means their products adhere to higher quality in terms of weave, strength, weight and durability. You are comparing their parts to cheaper wet lay carbon pieces which certainly do run into issues regarding imperfect weave, yellowing and degradation with use. I would search around E46Fanatics and M3forums to see their stellar reputation as a top manufacturer of quality carbon fiber aero components.

Not sure if you guys saw my post before but Vorsteiner can produce any of these pieces in the exact OEM 1x1 fine weave. They will guarantee a perfect match of these components to the factory weave pattern.

What kind of upcharge and time would be involved in that, for like the trunk lid?

Pricing has not been released for this material as it will be released with the E92 M3 parts but turn around time should not be any longer than the standard weave.

That bootlid has the standard black 2x2 weave. Vorsteiner has a black mesh 1x1 weave and will also release an OEM match 1x1 weave.

PM or email me about pricing, we are going to receive several stocking units of these boot lids in the next few weeks
