Pretty much the spec I want, but price is insane, frankly, for a 10 year old M3. Good luck!

The Kijiji ad shows 42000 CAD, which isn't that crazy for the spec.

Millie just expects all M3s to be valued at $25k all day no matter the year, spec, or mileage.

Champagne taste, beer budget. :

Or maybe all the private sale M3s are overpriced and that’s why no one is buying. $40k for a 10 year old M3, good luck with that.

It's priced correctly. The demand for the low mileage 6 Speed M cars is very strong.
One search on BAT tells you exactly what these cars go for.

Your arguments regarding M3 prices all across this forum hold no water. Your single point is the age of these cars, that's all you ever have to say for any M3 listed north of $25k or $30k. "Hurr durr iT's tEn YeArs oLd."

Gee, I wonder why clean E46, E39, 993, even 997, etc are worth more than pennies on the dollar despite being so old. There is a large market for N/A high revving sports cars of this era, in case you haven't noticed...

Want a clean, low mileage M3 with a nice spec? You're going to pay for it or enjoy window shopping.

It's just that simple.

GLWS OP, I'm sure your car will sell eventually.

I think this car is priced pretty well. What do you think it should be priced at?

Or just go into any dealership in the country that has a used M3 for sale, their prices reflect what the market will pay. Go look at autotrader right now to see the price difference between dealers and private sales. Out of all these low-mileage M3s that are listed in the $40k's, how many are actually being sold? Last one I remember is a 2011 black E90 being traded into a dealer, it was listed at over $40k all year.

Garage List
I think it's priced pretty fairly if it's in CAD, might be a stretch if USD but the Kijiji ad seems to confirm Canadian funds.

For reference last summer I traded in my '11 E90 M3 6MT for ~$32k CAD (after tax) and it had 120,000km and an $18k claim from a hit and run. The dealer sold it almost immediately after for $30k before tax.

Maybe you're just bitter you buy cars that are worth nothing after a few years.

E9x M3s have held their value well, and clean examples will continue to. People are also buying them, you can't find and never will be able to buy a N/A V8 M3 from BMW again.
