They posted a Dyno sheet on their Facebook page 45 mins ago or so now. They said they started out with a car that made 398hp and after their tuning ended with 437hp

They didn't specify whether the hp numbers where wheel or crank or w.e but since it's on a Dyno I'm going to assume it's whp. But don't quote me on this lol. Forgot to mention i dont ready German either. who knew?

It's a Maha dyno that calculates crank hp

Maha dynos are the kind used by car manufacturers. It's the real deal.

They compare stock vs tune+airbox so it isn't fully apples to apples.
The question is how much a tuned car gains just by adding the airbox. Their numbers who 8hp.

I'll test it on a car that has HFC Xpipe, tune and pulleys. First with the stock airbox and then the Karbonius one. That should give us a clear delta.

Nice stuff! Cool to see them expand their quality engineering to E9x side. Thanks for "push" in making it happen. Assume your car is tuned already? Your plan is to dyno with stock file, and reload current tune? My guess would be to see most gain (am sure very little) is to set up some real time pulls/adjustments. But that wouldn't be accurate for the masses.

My car is tuned, although it was dyno'd when it was stock. So the results we'll have are:

Stock ecu and exhaust with pulleys, new spark plugs and new oem filter (last year)
Tuned ecu and hfc xpipe with pulleys, new spark plugs and new oem filter
Tuned ecu and hfc xpipe with pulleys, new spark plugs and full karbonius setup

The last 2 will be done back to back. The first set of results will be from last year

Karbonius consistently makes very high quality items (e.g. CF s54 airboxes), and their prices are quite reasonable for the quality/labor involved.

Is it weird that this makes the idea of an s65 in my e46 more appealing? Before I coudln't deal with losing the CF airbox sound.

Now... well, I can't wait to hear it
