Question Who has a Go Pro?

Looking at getting one. How does the Contour compare?

Who has the best prices right now?

I have one (broke the first) They are great little camera's but I would never use it as my main camera, it will always be the B/extra camera. I don't have any experience with the contour's though.

We really just use it as the "Behind the Scenes" camera now since the fisheye on them are pretty harsh... And until we order our camera mount we use it as a drive along camera.

We have the car mounts for it, although the quality is excellent for the size/price its still not practical as a main camera. Go Pros are really great investments though and I think every videographer should have at least one, just opens so many windows and are fun to use.

What will you be using it for?

In car/outside car videos & whatever else I come up with. Could add the rear LCD & use it as my main cam. I am not going to buy 50 cameras.

I have one, with the suction cup mount, Love it, quality is AWESOME! and its nice and small, I use to for mountain biking, Skim-boarding, skiing, and I also put it in the rear window of my car and it gets the entire interior, the super wide angle is pretty gnar, but at least you don't miss anything.

I think a go pro would be perfect for you then, unless someone chimes in about the contour's cause I don't know anything about them...

You skimboard, that was the last thing I though I would see. I actually ride for DashBoard Skimboards (have you heard of them?) dbskimboards.com

you might want to check out the Drift HD170. It's supposed to be a little nicer than the Go Pro.
