Please take a look at these few threads that may prove helpful to you.
I personally went with an SSK, but then changed back since I preferred the feel of the stock shifter.

I got the UUC with DSSR and I like it. I don't have the slop others are experiencing. My 'play' seems normal to me.

I have the RE as well. I like it, quality is awesome. Not sure if I would bother with this mod again though, it's cool, but ehh, it's not really anything special.

thanks for the comments.
I have the ACS short shift on my Mcoupe and I just got one for my M3 but when I open the box, it is actually a modified OEM (the one from BMW performance), will see after installed.
By the way, I just put on the OEM CF rear deck spoiler (it just came out not long time ago) on my E92 M3, it is now look like I changed the trunk lid.

I think you would appreciate the RE SSK more once you use and apply it for how useful it is to have it at the track

We have the Rogue Octane SSK in our project E92 M3 and it's great!

For those interested, here it is: http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...oducts_id=2255

Let me know if there are any questions regarding it.

I've got the AA SSK and I love it. Its silent but feels very solid. I thought the OEM was ridiculous.
