WTB: D+Kcan cable for coding. OR local meet up
I am in the market for a d+kcan for coding my 08 m3. I have a cheap China cable that worked for my 07 335 (dcan) but doesn't work with my m3 (kcan). I'm almost certain 08 and newer communicate through kcan and kcan on my cheapo cable doesn't work. I'll buy another China cable if you can confirm it works on your 08~. I'm sure there's some out there so hit me up! OR if you are local to central NJ and need help with Your car I will help as long as we can do mine after your car haha Thanks :-) |

My cheap ebay cable doesn't work on my car. I have spent Hours and hours researching and trying to get this to work to with no luck. The cable's chipset allows for both dcan and kcan and I'm about 90% sure the kcan side is broken. I was hoping someone would chime in and say "I am selling my cheap ebay China cable that is CONFIRMED to work".
By ordering a cable that I know works, it proves if I am being a dufus or not. |
