Who can Refinish BMW 359s (stock ZCPs)?

Mine are trashed from the track. I have a couple large pits and some discoloration (dulling) as well. They are the standard color (not black). I'm going to get a dedicated track wheel/tire going forward.

Is there anyone capable of fixing the pits and refinishing them to look new?

Thanks.

By the way, I'm in OC.

Thanks.

what about LTMW guy "son tran" I think his name is? I seem to see a lot of threads about that guy and what great work he does on wheel repair?

Really? I had my 219 18" wheels done in three days and that included blasting, refinishing, and coating

I almost bought a set of ZCP wheels that were "refinished" by the individual mentioned, they were not fixed well to say the least. Maybe he had an off day but the repairs were obvious and poorly done.

Thanks for the additional info. So did your 219s have pits or curb rash before they went into Nu-tec? I can't seem to fine a website for them. Strange in today's world.

Nu-tec doesn't have a website, I know, I know.

I bought the 219 used and each wheel had some sort of curb rash varying from superficial scratches to a couple 3"-4" decent rashes. They looked brand spanking new when I got them back.

I've tried a few other spots locally that do coating but found Nu-tec to be the best around. Between myself and a handful of friends we have had maybe 18-20 sets of car and motorcycle wheels done as well as some other stuff and everything has been perfect.

BTW, Nu-tec does a lot of work for local wheel companies and vendors... PM me if you want more info

Google them, all their info is online, just no website.

I had my wheels done in a bronze finish so I can't compare to stock.

Son Tran is one of the best IMO. I've had him work on all my rashed wheels since '02. He'll also come out to you and take care of it the same day.

I had my wheels refinished through whoever EAS uses (forgot the shop name).

Needless to say my wheels were bent and scuffed bad and they looked BRAND NEW when I got them back. (had them powder coated gunmetal as well).

It DID however take about a week.
