Authentic Mode Carbon: LM Rear Diffuser

After a side impact minor accident, the diffuser got two TINY chips. Text number below for pics...

The high end body shop I use, only works on high end cars. He agreed to paint the diffuser Jet or "Gloss" Black when he paints the front bumper.

The car is going into the paint booth next week:

Option #1: Diffuser "As-Is" Minor damage, if you are good with carbon fiber layering you can easily repair it and end up with a slightly superior version of the original. Asking $400 obo As Is.

Option #2: Diffuser repaired by one of the best in the business and painted Gloss Black and clear coated... Asking 600 obo, Painted and better than new.

Text me with question or for pics of the damage. Please don't waste my time asking for pics then saying never mind when you see two tiny little chips. If you have an M3 even the slightest damage should be unexceptable to you. Only take option 1 if you are going to re-carbon fiber, repair and repaint yourself, or vinyl wrap it.

If you follow the link to the original thread, you'll see my car is in the body shop. The diffuser has the tiniest chip. Sadly repairing c/f is too much of a headache and too expensive, so my body guy who is the best I've ever seen is going to repair the chip. reinforce the whole piece and paint it Jet Black with my front bumper.

He's painting the car next week. If you want a pic of the damage I can text it to you but even on the closeup, you can barely see it. Im just a perfectionist.

EDIT:

PS: He repainted the car about 6 months ago. So if you notice how glossy and perfect the paint is on the car, that gives you an idea of his worksmanship and skill.

No, E90 and E92 diffusers will fit differently because the bumper is different.
