Also, it's not a good sign when we can't even PM Anmol because his messaging limit has been exceeded and needs to "clear out space".

Indeed, for that type of money the customer service and craftsmanship needs to be unquestionably immaculate.
I think you missed some facts here...

Anmol worked for Sonic MS who provided BayOptiks headlights as a third party vendor. Contact BayOptiks directly if you have any questions, issues or need assistance with customer service about their products or work done. Simple.

Sonic MS is out of business...has been for quite some time now. Anmol no longer has any affiliation with them, thus him no longer responding under that username.
Ahh indeed, makes sense. Thank you for clarifying.

Do you btw know if pricing for BavGruppe kits are universal amongst installers? Or do they all dictate their own prices?

Interesting... looks like the have an installer in SoCal.

Wonder if anyone has used the shop in SoCal and if I can get the same look... DTM rings + switch backs + the corner light upgrade.

I just don't feel right with sending my current lights across the country.

Ya I feel you... Maybe that SoCal shop offers core refund if you send your original headlights to them?

I'm just on the fence between dropping the $1500 or just buying the kit for a couple hundred bucks, and building these myself.

I wonder if one of these shops would entertain the idea of a group buy... Like if 10 of us agreed to buy a kit from them, would they discount the price and still be able to customize them to everyone's individual liking.

I sent a message to the shop in SoCal to get a quote to see if they can do the DTM rings + switch backs (I think that's the LED eyebrows) + paint + etched + LCI beauty piece.

Cool... I'm curious to know what they will quote you.

I want literally that exact same setup.

$225 - LCI Side Marker
$850 - Retrofit Labor and Paint

Total of $1755 for all parts and labor for the build.

Ouch... that's pricey.

I reached out to BayOptiks to see if/what type of discount they can provide for a group buy.

I think that's upgrading the middle lens so it looks like quad HID rather than outside lens HID and inside lens looking like halogen

Ah okay, got it. So is it a functional ZKW-R projector for both lamps (inner/outer)?

Or just a "quad look"?

I'm thinking just a quad look, but dunnno... the descriptions on all these headlight websites are very confusing.

Right, super vague and confusing.

You'd think that if a company wants to sell products, they would clearly describe their products and even show photos.

I think all these "installers" are just one or two man operations, people who are familiar with headlights and know how to use an oven (to unseal the headlights).

You're probably 100% right... looking at Evil Headlights it looks like he does it in his driveway

Hey so I'm in contact with BayOptiks... They are able to provide a $400+ discount via a group buy.
