Advice Please!

Hey, thanks for looking -

Need advice on fitment and tire suitability...

Currently run square APEX ARC-8 10x18 ET 25 with 275/35R18 Potenza RE-11 on 2012 E92 M3 lowered on H&R Sport springs - no spacers - with no rubbing or fitment issues at all. Current camber is -2.0F/-1.25R.

Being offered a great deal on Nitto nt555r2 285/35/zr18 tires with a short deadline, so here’s the Q:

1. Are these NITTOs decent trackday tires? Looked for reviews online but zip info.
And...
2. Based on your knowledge/experience, will the NITTOs mounted on the ARC-8s clear the suspension and not rub at full deflection?

TIA!

The RE-11 was an exceptional street/track tire. Good grip and durable. Nitto NT-05 would compare

Totally agree!
My RE11s are on their last legs so was thinking I might take advantage of this offer...but I’m a little concerned about the 285 profile...

555r2's haven't been manufactured in almost 10 years. Sounds like you are getting a "deal" on expired tires.

Many tire shops won’t even mount a 10 year old tire. I’d skip old tires. Rubber changes with age.
