The original (220s) wheels on the car were plasti-dipped when I bought it, previous owner was seemingly not into high quality mods but fortunately hadn't done too much. I bought the 359's in black from Turner.

The chrome delete on the trims is wrapped. 3 years in it's holding up OK except under the rear window, but the shop that did it seems to be offering to replace it, so I'm pretty happy with that. If you are having it done, learn from my experience, they told me that the reason the rear is lifting is that they stretched a 2" strip around the rear rather than cutting a shaped piece from a wider strip, seems like they let one of their less experienced people do it at the time and they are basically saying that's not how it should have been done so they will fix it. All the other pieces are holding up just fine.

Is yours lowered, the wheel gap at the front of mine is probably the remaining thing I would want to change

Yes it is, it's on H&R springs with spacers

It has blue flake in it and kinda flops to blue in the sunlight. The BMW dealer I bought it from said it was a rare color don't know how much of that is true.
