They are a forum sponsor.

I'll offer a different view: if they were another sponsor who lots of people here rave about, the entire thread would already be gone, OP would be banned and several people would have received warnings.

It has happened multiple times and yet the hive mind continues to support said vendor like a bunch of rabid zombies.

The fact that ECS has allowed this thread to stay alive and unmoderated speaks volumes

Even though they made the mistake, they still forced me to correct the issue by paying out of pocket.
Did you ever consider contacting your credit card company? They delivered to the incorrect address, so they cannot produce any proof that they actually shipped you the parts to your requested shipping address.

Good idea. I don’t know if they can go that far back though.

why would you need to pay 75 if they shipped to wrong address? shipper has burden of proof that buyer received the item.

Bad publicity comes with a price.
Silence only reinforces it!

For example, you come with good RB publicity!

I agree with Shadow on the M&A dynamics generally, but he's assuming ECS is even aware of this thread.

Well I say it's time to make them aware instead of talking through a closed door and letting this thread spiral out of control.

I have no experience with ECS, but as a potential customer that needs a few parts, I'd like to see if this is a case of the 1% that had a bad experience making 100% of the reviews that skew a company's perception, or....

I have been using them for oil change kits and random parts for my cars for years without a single issue. Good luck I suppose.

I've ordered from ECS several times before and never had an issue. But FCP has comparable prices and lifetime replacement so I pretty much always order from FCP now. FCP also has excellent customer service.

As a side note: look into getting a credit card with purchase protection and return protection. Plenty of them don't have an annual fee, some of the AMEX ones come to mind

Please shoot me an order number so I can review and try to make this right for you, you shouldn't have to pay for a site error.

We're not really in the business of screwing people if you ever see a kit like that feel free to shoot me a note, all of our kits should either be lower than the cost of parts or equal to. Admitting when our back-end system runs pricing updates some of our kits do break and pricing has to be manually fixed, my guys are very quick but some kits do get misses.

R&D for Turner Currently:
Turner Part Engineering is headed up in Wadsworth, Ohio.
Turner Software Engineering is headed up in Amesbury, MA.
Turner deployment (packages) are shipped from Wadsworth, Ohio.

As always if anyone has issues please feel free to shoot me a note, I'm here to help yall.

I've never had any issues with ECS. They have taken (saved? ) a lot of my money and sometimes stuff is broken or borked at the warehouse or whatever, and it's always been a quick cell phone photo or email away from getting fixed.

I have noticed that FCP has price parity and/or some superior packaging options (like not having to buy a box of 10 fasteners or whatnot) but eh, it's such an amazing service we have access to (Realoem + online parts houses) that I can't complain too loud. If realoem.com is ever privatized I will subscribe immediately because even though I have the TIS/fiche CD it's still so damn convenient for spending money unnecessarily

Which reminds me I need to order that E90 center console power plug/oddments tray kit... $$$$$ here we go again

I get most of my parts from ECS. I've had no problems with shipping or shipping out parts on back order or receiving damaged parts. To date had one hiccup that was rectified immediately... To this day still ordering some parts from them always received well packed and secured in box...

I buy from the local dealer, the club membership gives me 15% discount and I can always go in person to rectify problems.

I've ordered from ECS hundreds of times and never had an issue. Every company has issues and the reputation of the company is based on how they handle those issues.

People are quick to spread negative feedback about a company, but rarely publicize positive experiences. Things should be taken with a grain of salt, usually, coarse.

Yeah I wouldn't be happy about it. A simple phone call to their customer support department would settle that. It's just brake components, and cheap ones at that. No need to be irate about it and or bash the company. just my 2 cents.
