Max weight in trunk? Payload?

I need to move some concrete patio stones.
Does anyone know what is the max weight the E92 M3 can support in the rear trunk/with folded down seats?

Thanks!

In Canada, you can rent a van at Home Depot for $20 an hour ... No purchase required

Sounds like a set up. Plenty of people have fit 2 hookers back there no issues. Go ahead don't need to pretend you are remodeling

The place where I'll be getting the concrete slabs are no where near the homedepot, and it isn't $20 anymore

so how many slabs are you trying to move?

hop on Turo or something and rent a minivan/van/truck
it will make life so much easier
(for minivan - as long as you get the kind that have seats that can be folded into the floor)

minivans are great because they have low floors and it will be easy to load and unload whatever you need to move

honestly probably like 4-5 slabs at most. 24" x 30"?
I'm not doing the whole deck, I'm only renovating the side entrance of my house.

Put the rear seats down and slide some of the slabs forward. Car should be able to carry 1000 lbs including you.

sorry there's no Home Depot in the area.

In Canada it's $24.95 for the first 90 minutes to rent the van or a pickup truck or $24 / day for a trailer.

We bought some outdoor furniture at Costco this spring, rented the HD van accross the street and did a round-trip in 74 minutes. As an M3 driver its a good service to have as plan B

I'm assuming uHaul isn't an option either then?

You should ask a friend or rent a car. 24"x30" concrete weighs about 80lbs to 100lbs each. Even if you spread them around in the back of the m3, I'm sure having 200lbs sitting on the back side of the rear seats is not the best thing to do.

Thanks for all the advice guys, ended up getting a friend and taking his work truck to pick the concrete slabs up. It was a total of 16 slabs weighing more than 1000lb
I intended to only take 6 slabs but rather not risk it with the M3.

You would not believe what I have hauled in my M3 — bags of sand and mulch and salt and concrete, 5 gallon buckets and 4 gallon boxes of paint, lumber as long as 12 feet, tools, trash, 3 dogs, etc. Heaviest load including me was probably 1000 lbs.

Good on you for getting a truck. That being said, I think only one person answered (1k lbs including yourself). Everyone else's $.02 was just... lol
