This sedan looks fantastic, Bravo. I went to see the introduction of the Z4 with 4-cyl at the NYIAS in april... THIS color is brautiful

That rich yellow in the car by OP is beautiful, imho. Yes, and so it does look like a NYC cab! Anywhere but NYC (where all cabs are the same yellow), though, I don't think anyone would mistake it for a cab.

I didn't bother to read the 7 pages of replies so I don't know if I'm the only one...but that thing is hideous! I didn't think I would see a 1 I didn't like..but this is it. Epic color fail.

Opened up the latest Roundel magazine yesterday and happened to see a picture in it of an atacama yellow Z4... beautiful color!

It is so funny how people feel differently. To me Dakar is pure sex and this color is pure vomit.

Congrats on your new car and thank god for not picking a boring ol white, black or grey. You can see grey, black, or white dime a dozen and people with negative comments on here are the ones that are driving those boring blah colors. Do not pay attention to them. They are like a herd they follow what everyone else does. If everyone buys a black, grey and silver that is what they would do. It takes balls to do what you have done and I like it

An M car needs to be unique and looks good in sporty and flashy colors. I know I wish that I would order a car in more unique color when it gets time to move to my own M car. To bad one has to spend $5K to get these unique colors.

I also think this yellow would look even better on M3 coupe with carbon fiber roof.

If it is the one at Vista then that's Dakar and not Atacama Yellow.
