Are these forged?
Removable bridge?
Can you PM me prices, thanks.

Im on the fence between these, Brembos, or Stoptechs. I have always used Brembos.

AP Racing brakes are lightweight, pressure cast aluminum alloy (2-piece body) which is designed for better pedal feel than most monoblock calipers.

It's a fixed radial mount so there is very limited (if any) caliper flex.

PM with pricing come on the way

It appears the cool strap drive system is not standard on any of the kits. Is it only on race kits, optional, etc.?

Front Rotors on this kit are actually using the Strap Drive System which is compatible with OE, ABS, Traction Control and Stability systems. The kits that we have and sell will come with this if you order the front 6POT's

Good question, yes, the 6POT fronts and the 4POT rears will fit under OEM 19"s AND OEM 18"s

Would you happen to have a pick with them under 18" wheels?

I really don't think they'll fit under anything smaller than a 18" wheel unfortunately. The rotors are quite large so I wouldn't try it.

Sorry, should have been more clear. I meant any pics with 18" wheels. Do they need special wheel weights to fit, low rising ones?
Thanks.

Sorry about that, didn't really understand lol. Brandon did a photoshop of 18" V710s on a Red M3, but since he photoshopped the wheels smaller to make the car look like they're riding on 18"s, he also shrunk the brakes, so it's not going to look the same.

It's an accurate rendering of the wheels, not the brakes though, they'll look a bit larger. Hopefully that helps but I don't think that this picture really accomplishes what you're trying to look for.

Yes - the kits were specifically manufactured to fit behind factory 18" wheels without the need for spacers or any other modifications. APs aren't for bling, they just work.

Good to see you on this side also.

So, then what makes this kit specifically better then Brembos or Stoptech kits? I have read the info, but would perhaps like to get more specific comparo between the brands. I have narrowed it down to Brembo, Stoptech or AP.

Quite a bit of info on the strap drive systems can be found on AP's side here: http://www.apracing.com/info/index.a...Drive+Discs_32

Bullet points would be:

- 7100/7150 systems can fit underneath OEM 18" wheels without the need for spacers
- 10lb weight savings over OEM BMW setup
- Proprietary Strap Drive System
- Quick and Easy Pad changes without removing calipers

AP Component weights (and kit details) were published on our journal thread here: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5309854

In case you might be wondering, the AP Racing engineers are the same ones who do the OE brakes for Ascari, Aston Martin, Bugatti, Caparo, Farbio, GTA, Holden HSV, Koenigsegg, Lotus, McLaren, Morgan, Noble, Pagani, Rossion, Seat, Spyker, Tramontana, Ultima, Zolfe and other limited, high-end exotic supercars.

Can you post a non-photoshopped pics of the AP kit and OEM 18's?
