Sure it can, so can the M-DCT. You just saw it! The cars are close enough that driver skill is a huge factor. You did note that the C63 driver said he was not happy with the wheelspin and the run in general, right?

Isn't this a repost from a month or so ago? Anyway, still a nice vid with one winner, as ever.

I still think the Merc with a descent take off would win...

I drove both and have the C63. From my experience there is noway a manual M3 can take a C63. Considering both are launched properly.

In this vid all the drivers are all non professionals, I would give the edge to the C6 driver. But then again look at the results M3 all the way. ISF second C63 third.

M3 DCT vs C63 a drivers race!

I still think my M3 is slow..

Sure - but as it says in a poster I used to hang in my office:

"The race doesn't always go to the swift, nor the battle to the strong - but that's the way to bet."

I've never driven a C63, but I've been told you can push a button to get an "LS" display in the instrument cluster - for "Ludicrous Speed"*.

That true?

That's one of the dumbest tests yet.
  1. Acceleration - good test
  2. Trunk Size - who gives a flying ****?
  3. Drifting - speed / angle / noise - are all UK journalists morons? Who gives a crap about drifting?
Ridiculous.

Kafka would not approve.
