if you have a wing attached to your trunk, you should be hand closing your trunk and firmly pressing it shut by the area below the license plate.

that being said, something is wrong with your setup if it is that loose. post some pics.

1. If you have a wing bolted to the trunk and you calmly lay it against the weather stripping and move your hand to the filthy license plate area and firmly close your trunk. You like men or you went to a private school and your mom was on the board of neighborhood watch weekly and head of HOA. Acutally it’s all of the above .

2. I just remembered your car hasn’t left the house in 3-4 years so the filthy plate area is a distant memory and my bad .

3. Just tell him what you wanna say and say that’s what you get for adding a cosmetic item. Be a man , your buff as hell and could snap my neck . Act like it .

You might have fisted your trunk holes too much, now the hole is to enlarged and the wing moves around when bolted down.

In regards for the vibrating... For example, on my Evo 9, I ran a Voltex Type-5-V, which would shimmy left and right until it reached a certain speed, where the wing stabilized. This although had something to do with the mounting type, where it was end plate mounted.

Although I don't see that ever happening with the GTS/GT4 style ones since they are much smaller in size and have solid mounting bases.

car is back at the storage unit but i'll get out there and take pics of the mounting. i don't think overfisted holes is the issue

there's no scoring of paint or any other indication that the mount itself is moving around on the trunk lid. it's just the trunk lid itself flexing a good bit, even with a 3x5x3/8" aluminum plate underneath it.

i might have hilariously miss read your statement then.. you mean the wing is flexing on your trunk? cause i thought you said you wing was literally moving.

yeah, the trunk lid itself is flexing, and given the height of the burkhart risers it allows the top of the wing to move by a considerable amount.

the trunk underside in mine looks like it does in this photo, complete with notched ribs.

Fellas... kind of an oxymoron here but I'm looking for street pads for my AP 9668....

I do drive on the street so I don't want to always drive around with the track pads in.

Anyone running a decent pad for street?

This; I just put in a new set of Ferodos DS2500's... Lasted about 4 track days and 1500 miles street driving (mostly highway so not much pad used). Fronts only, rears are still 50-60%.

Great on track, and very powerful on street .

I’ve also subbed them in for track pads when my race pads got low at the track. They wear quick on the track, but they do fine for a hybrid. Good choice of pad, especially if you’re using with dsUNO.

I remember cleaning my wheels with stock pads also, so the difference might not be earth shattering (Ferodo to stock). Obviously, after a track day your wheels are covered with pad dust.. and rubber bits from your tires

BTW; I did use dedicated track pads before, could not stand the squealing. These don't make any noise, and that peace of mind is worth the price.
My wife can drive the M3 to work next day when I am back from the track, and nothing is different.

Yeah I plan on running dedicated pads. I have PFC 331/332 combo waiting to go in.
