4 PIPE OEM Mod

Hey,

Just wanted to post that I just finished up doing the 4 pipe mod to my exhaust and it sounds amazing. I had the 2.5 pipe mode and I think it sounds way better with all 4 pipes removed. I'm hoping to have a video clip later this week when I'm away from my neighbors. I'm currently running a bimmerworld xpipe with only two resonators

The car does not sound stock at all, but it's only really noticeable when I get on it. Also, as the 2.5 mode there is no drone. So if you on the fence about doing it, I would say do it. However, it is loud once you open it up!!!!!!

My previous exhaust was about a 7 in loudness(AE exhaust) . This is about a 9.

What are the tips you have on there? They look amazing, and the setup sounds great.

Sounds and looks great. I have the 2.5 pipe mod and the same tips and love the set up.

I have 2.5 and love it. They all sound great to me. I agree those tips are killer.

The shop charged me 500 for the work and the tips were 175.

wow, that sounds amazing.

I just installed an Active Autowerke Signature Exhaust Gen 2 and was a little underwhelmed. Its more deep and bass-y than i expected. I was after the sound in that little clip of yours.

I might have to do a 4 pipe now... but I'm also only running test pipes with the AA exhaust. Wonder if a full catless x-pipe will change the sound.

I currently only have two resonators on my car, which makes the sound perfect. It still has a deep sound but screams on WOT.... I'm in love with this 4 pipe mode.

I have to agree with the 4 pipe mod. I've tried about 6 different variations of exhaust but a catless x pipe or test pipes with 4 pipe mod is just so damn good.

I also wanted to hate the 4 pipe mod because it seemed like a cheap, backyard hack job idea of an exhaust, but it's sooooo worth it.

Test pipes to secondary delete and stock resonators, I'm assuming ?

Absolutely zero drone. Stock resonators are still there.
