So it's been a while, and I have been held up waiting for the PDU10 to arrive from Syvec's so my loom has only just been started. Still the parts are arriving though!

Not yet, I've got my eye on a few different diff's so it's just a matter of chosing the supplier. Will be dropping a plated one in for sure though. I've seen a few standard diff's boiling the fluid so a cooler is a must now

Oh yeah. I run a cooler on mine.

Been talking to Elise racing. Sharp guys. Nice that they have a solution for the DCT guys that want to run different diff ratios.

So guys, it's update time!
I'm sure some of you has seen the update on other social media platforms but here we go

So it looks like I missed my engine part of the build out in 2015. Shrick medium lift cams have gone in along with the sump baffle kit while the motor was being repaired. 2 holes needed addressing. A/C delete too. Shell bearings were not bad at all, but have been replaced with the VAC kit and ARP Bolts

As I'm going through my thread, I missed this update too. Suspension parts haul from the awesome guys at bimmerworld last year and a few things from VAC too

Time for my rear aero solution. I drew up my design for a chassis mount to be fitted in the boot. With the help of Pete at PSDesigns it was made up and ready to go. I've then gone and had a swan neck wing made to match up to it. Will see how this goes with the view to develope onto another wing. Here's some more pics for you all!

Yep it will do. I'm running a C/F trunk too. The setup I'm using can also be extended when a fuel cell is installed to clear it too. This is currently only a 155cm width wing, once developement is complete, I'll be going up to 170cm and developing end plates too

So guys, it’s time for a well over due update! Things are moving along, at a slower rate than I hoped for but progress is progress.

Here is the current wing solution. This is the Karboniuos composites e92 dual plane wing. It has been specially adapted with mounting carbon lugs. This wing is absolutely amazing and with any luck, should be able to generate huge downforce!

Now that the wing is here, I have been able to do a dry run with the wing in the chassis mounted wing bridge. All fixings on this has been made out of titanium to keep any weight that goes into this as minimal as possible. Anyway here’s some pics!

Amazing build, why did the block have a hole to begin with? What happened? Is the block salvageable?

With the car being a write off, it was impossible to see the condition fully until it was stripped down and removed from the car. We were hoping all was well because it ran for the inspection but alas it had to be fix

So after over 2 and a half years it is up and running! The super B battery makes light work of spinning the engine over and has it running in no time at all. It also sounds awesome without the airbox installed. Hopefully it will be on the dyno in the next few days for a full power run
