Zero Problems w/ My 08 M3
I would like to report that after one year and 10,000 miles I have had zero problems with this wonderful car.
Its as solid as was my 04 e46 m3. I love the build quality of these machines. Just FYI; Bought new e92 6MT Moonroof, 18s, no tech package. No MDM. JZB + Fox Red + Carbon Leather trim. Pedals and a motor FTMFW! I LOVE IT! Damn good it is.

So far so good it seems for most of us M3 owners.
Really dont see too many problem threads popping up which is great!

i havent driven a new one in over a year. i *think* it feels the same, but who knows, right? the car is mean as ever, the clutch is also grippy as ever.
i still double clutch and rev match and all... however, i am not as excited about the car as OP is... im pretty much over it. wish it were smaller, more nimble, go-kart-ish, lower, more precise steering, and definitely wish it had more torque available at lower RPM's... but then i used to change cars like every year. i think im ready for a next even if its not an M car, or a BMW even goddamn it, i want a mini, a 370z, a gayman s.. something very light, very small, very fast and impractical! |

I'm at almost 20 months and 18k miles. I've only had a couple minor issues, and am pleased with the quality as well. The newness and excitement has worn off, but I tend to keep my cars for a while, and will probably have this one until the next one comes out. It's still a great pleasure to drive, and I will continue to do minor tweaks.

A year & a half now. Happy with it now but I did want to drive it through the dealership windows after the 4th time the emissions light came on.
It was resolved after the 5th visit though. |

Just minor stuff here: The right rear taillight went out, and it turned out not to be the bulb, but rather the thing the bulb sits in. Both front "angel eyes" driving lights have gone out at different times, and the check engine light came on once. That turned out to be a misfire in cylinder #8 that was apparently a one-time event and not reproducible.
Car was purchased June 08, now with 17.5k miles. |

'08 E92 no "junk" ie has 6MT, no MDM, no Nav, no tech, no 2nd dash hump. Owned for 18 months and 16 K miles. Only problem is the clutch squeaks a little- that's it!

About to crest 10k miles and it still rides solid. The exhaust seems to be fully broken in and has gotten a bit louder. The car is perfect and I'd buy it again.

Glad not to see a car with the idle control valve replaced; not as wide-spread as I thought. Wonder if mods have anything to do with that . Plan to leave mine stock, so we'll see.
Six months, 2K miles and no problems. Hope to join the 1-yr/no-problem club. Or even better, the 4-yr/no-problem club . And yes, it's a keeper folks. Take care. |

At last one thread confirming no problems! Usually people report problems and seek for advise, but all those who never had any issues don't report/confirm this to the broader audience!

15 months, 17k miles and the only problem I have had was a loose EDC sensor which was fixed during my 1.2k service.
Love this car...
