[Video] Tell me what this noise is at idle?

Hey guys - Wondering if someone can tell me if the noise you can hear at 0:07 - 0:10 and 0:18 - 0:21 is a normal sound during warmed up idle? I don't really know how to describe the noise besides calling it a whirring noise.

Please let me know!

You would have to open the hood to hear it better but sounds like a normal s65 to me.. If your hearing strange noises while revving then thats when you shit yourself… Until then

Cool, thanks - I will take another one tomorrow with the hood open. I don't hear anything out of the ordinary while driving it, just this one at idle.

I've finally recorded a new video today after changing my spark plugs. This one with the hood open. I have listened to a lot of YouTube videos of E9X engine sounds and have not heard anything like mine. Pay special attention around the 28 second mark. It sounds like gears whirring or something. I cannot figure out how to describe it.

The sounds remains the same up thru 2000RPM. I cannot hear it after that because the engine noise takes over. It's likely still there.

It sort of comes and goes every 10 seconds or so and sees to be coming from the driver side of the engine. I cannot pin point its location though.

Anyone have any idea what this could be?

The S65 is a Chatty Cathy. Nothing sounded abnormal there.
