E92 M3 6MT Noise when revved in Neutral - 6MT - Flywheel/Throwout bearing?

Hey guys. I’ve got a quick question. I recently acquired a new E92 to me. The car has 17k miles, and is a 2012 6MT car. I’ve had three of these E92’s before, but they were all DCT. Tried to do a search but I guess my question is a bit more elaborate. This is my first 6MT E92.

When I rev the car in Neutral, there is a slight chirping if I rev the throttle slightly to maybe 3-4k rpm. I know the flywheel/tranny can be pretty noisy on these things. Everyone confirmed that a chirping/rattling at idle is “OK’, but would you also hear it if you blipped the throttle a little bit? The sound is completely gone when I depress the clutch pedal and rev it. Just want to make sure this is normal… Things have to be very quiet to hear it. Radio off, A/C off, etc. Heck, if I didn’t have an OEM exhaust I’m not sure I would catch it.

It is very faint, car drives perfect. And again, no noises with the clutch pedal pressed in. Let me know your thoughts please, I’m a bit OCD and tend to overthink things. Not sure whether to try and diagnose this or it’s completely normal.

I just had the clutch kit, flywheel, guide tube, throw out bearing, pivot pin, clutch fork all replaced with OE parts on my 08 M3 and it still makes some very faint gear noises in neutral. I would say it is normal.

Copy that. Do you have some very slight gear noise/chirping when you throw in some revs? Or just when idling.

Slight noise in neutral is normal for this car and gearbox. my car with a single mass flywheel is pretty audible when releasing the clutch, i dont worry about it because its just mechanical noise.

I have a very slight gear noise when I apply some RPM, but I have not heard any chirping noises before.
