Greetings,

I know we all have had or heard people state the driving style of BMW drivers. Well, here is my observation. We drive cars that are wonderfully connected to the driving experience, and often the people who drive BMWs and especially any of the M or M-equipped cars are big driving enthusiasts. We take pride in our cars and enjoy the driving experience very much. Many of us have worked and grinded very hard to drive the cars we do.

The flip side of the coin to that is this. I encounter countless unaware, awkward lane management, driving so slow it's unsafe, and since weed has been legal I swear many stoned af drivers. The most common car drivers I see that are so checked out are usually drivers of the following -Tesla, Camry, Accord, and any mini-van.

I never drive unsafe, I do drive very aware and always use my turn signals, obeying the speed limit (usually). But it gets so frustrating seeing people who just don't care or are blissfully unaware.
A second evolution of bad drivers is the ones that drive any make or model have zero level of competence and are unsafe.

In closing, on the weekends I get up very early (4 AM) and can drive all around the westside of Portland metro roads and highways with nearly zero people - I started doing this 10 years ago when I bought my M3 - it is still the best time to drive, from 4-6:30 AM on the weekends there are open roads and making a run on US26 West to the tunnel is sublime.
