Just got an email back from a finance guy at Steve Thomas. He indicated that there was no warranty options for my car, yet Valencia BMW today told me there are options. I kinda feel like he just didn't want my business, and that isn't cool...

UPDATE:

Apparently Valencia BMW was offering a 3rd party warranty. I apologize for this error.

I updated my above post to reflect that there appears to be no official BMW warranty for any out of standard (non-CPO) and that the warranty offered to me by the dealer was a third party warranty. Sorry for any confusion I've caused.

What would be major cons for getting just the powertrain and not the gold service plan? Im mostly concerned about engine/DCT. Im trying to figure out if the price for the gold is justified...

If you need an extended BMW warranty, just talk to these guys at Steve Thomas BMW, you will not be disappointed. A breath of fresh air considering many dealers locally act as if there is no room for discount on these extended warranties. Impressed!

I was talking to Kenisha who I believe works with Jim while he was out. Ive talked to her on the phone a couple times and I have sent a few emails but no response from her. Perhaps I should just call Jim directly since he should be back from vacay???

good morning! yes Kenisha and Leo both work for Jim. Jim was on vacation but he is back now I believe. I called to talk to Jim on Saturday but he was busy, plan to call back today. I really hope he can give me a much better deal then what my local dealership quoted me lol.

He called me back today but I was in a meeting and never did get a chance to call him back so I thought. In the voicemail he said he was there until 8, well I totally forgot you & him are 2 hours behind me and I definitely could of called him back tonight. That's on me. I'll try again tomorrow.

We only offer the BMW set ups I apologize. I take it your car is a cpo and your looking to extend the warranty past the 100k? If so then correct you would have to find a 3rd party. If not shoot Jim Martinez a call 805-482-8878 ask for Jim M and let him know your a forum member and he will hook you up!
