it takes them 6 hours to flash the ecu. they won't do it unless they offer you a rental. if you need oil, just pull on the service drive and a porter will bring you a free quart. shouldn't have paid for it

I'm under the impression that the oil level is not a matter of empty or full, it is more of a gauge for optimal levels. Too full is just as bad as lower than low, causes fowled plugs and etc. The digital gauge is to represent the dip stick which in other cars does not tell you if you are empty but with in optimal range. Min to Max, therefore somewhere in between is fine. If your car happens to be low then put some more in it. I guess what I am trying to say is... am i right? Or is it different with this digital meter.

I've noticed mine sometimes fluctuates on idled time or driving time... so be careful because it won't tell you that you are too full, but it will tell you that you are low, is my guess.

right or wrong? let me know.

It costed me a total of $12.78

It now currently shows that I'm 90% from all the way full.

Before I filled it up, it showed that I was about 10% from completely empty.

Btw, I was brave enough to do all this hard work without a funnel.

I'm the man!

Thanks for your great help, Dev.

I've read in other posts that people have different experiences regarding free oil. Some dealers provide it, some don't. Some provide the stuff that goes in the regular cars for free and charge for the TWS.

Yeah, the stuff that goes in the M3 is expensive as hell, so I'd imagine the dealer being somewhat stingy LOL.

I just took a fun drive in the city, and DSC OFF is incredible!

It frees up so much power, and lets the M3 hang it all out!

Gotta be very careful though.
