So I guess this forum is like Call of Duty in that any chump can have a certain number of posts that correspond to a particular military rank until they reach the highest level and become a moderator? jk

Congrats Nawaaz! All I ask is you be the one responsible for this thread, watch our backs and let all our Texas bs slide. I know it is a huge responsibility but you are the only man for the job lol. Oh, and for Christmas I would like John (JC919) to be banned. kthanxbye

hahahehe Even when I wasn't a mod, I always tried to help out the forum if I could.

At the end, becoming a Mod doesn't make me any better than the average forum member. It just means that I have a certain responsiblity while I'm on the forum which I love being on so often.

Thanks for the congrats.......You funny you!

Sorry about what you're going through man.

I know the frustrations can tend to get in your head, even though the situation may not have anything to do with you.

Just stay strong and keep positive. I'm sure your parents are going through a hell of time right now also.

Just keep positive, and hopefully your positive outlook will help the situation.

Warning: Long Post (Ignore unless you are bored at work)

Hey guys,

This is mainly for the guys who helped me out in finding Choung after my awful experience at BMW of Dallas.

I thought I would share my email I just sent the service manager at BMW of Dallas since you guys have helped me out so much and have kinda been involved in helping me find the right people for things. A while back I posted I had taken my car in because it was making god awful noises at low speeds and that I had taken it to BMW of Dallas. I then found out from a bunch of you that was a bad idea. Then when I went to pick it up I was denied the service records for no apparent reason. Anyways... I just got a letter in the mail about how they want to keep sending me reminders so I will bring my car in for stuff but at the end it said if I had any comments to email the service manager... so I did:

Hey Cody,

I recently got a letter from BMW of Dallas, specifically the service department. At the end of the letter it said you would be the contact for any comments. I was completely unsatisfied with my experience there at your service department. It was completely unorganized and unprofessional from the beginning. I usually have Mario who has been pretty good in the past but Ive never needed anything out of the ordinary so Im really pretty neutral when it comes to his abilities. I was given someone else who didnt seem to know what they were doing and basically wasted my time. I brought my car in because it was making noises that any idiot would consider a problem on a $60,000 car. After having my car for a day, whoever my SA was concluded that it was no problem. I asked him how he knew that and his response was that there was another car there that also made the noise so it must be normal. I'm really hoping that finding another car that makes similar noises isn't how you "certify" your mechanics. When I left I asked him if I could have the service records on my car in order to put in my file. I got another answer that made no sense and was denied. To sum it up, your service department is a complete train wreck. I then talked with some people in the M3 Forum in order to make sure that this was not just an off experience I had. They were able to back me up completely and have since told me I should have never gone there in the first place. Lucky they not only know where to go but exactly who is the best SA to get with. I thought it was sad that your dealership was so bad that it was commonly known among M enthusiasts to NEVER to go there even if you have to drive alot further. Since you are the service manager I would assume its your job to keep the level of quality up. Please make sure that I do not get any more of these "courtesy" letters from your service or any other department there at BMW of Dallas.

Good luck,

Russell

If you have to ask how to have a healthy sex life on an internet forum , well then, you probably don't really need to ask the question in the first place.

A lot of you guys have met me, so that pretty much keeps me from bragging about how much of a beefcake I am. Otherwise, I'd be all over those threads.

Good luck,

Russell
When I had my E46, I went up to Dallas to visit my brother. I hit a pothole that was so bad, it literally broke one of my motor mounts. Every time I pressed the accelerator, it sounded and felt like my engine was going to fall out. I took the car to BMW of Dallas, and after a few hours they told me it checked out and they couldn't find any issues. Metropolitan Collision here in Houston found the issue immediately. I'd never recommend that place.

I'm currently in talks with IND to get the ESS VT2 kit, but I haven't made up my mind yet.

Btw, congrats again, Nawaaz. They couldn't have made a better choice.
