Dang, if I hadn't have just picked up an MCS set I would have been very interested. Good luck with the sale. I do believe those should work on any E9x M, just going to have a bit more of an exciting rear end on an E90 with the rear spring rate. They could very likely be set up for flatride though.

I'm also still looking to trade my test pipes for a catted mid section.

I also have everything to install f80 brakes including basically new rotors and two new sets of pads. I'm dumb and didn't read the solo rule book well enough to know that setup would kick me from street touring. 3k and I can even install.

That sucks... You may want to check with Pat as he may help find a solution for you. He is my go-to guru on trouble shooting. LOL

Hey guys,

Semi-new to M3 ownership, bought an E90 in May, and am needing the CD changer coded active to finish the Mr12Volt install.

Is the OP still around or anyone have another resource for coding in the St. Louis area? I’m in O’fallon but willing to make the trek wherever.

He's still around but his laptop is in the trunk of my M. Lol.

I do have bimmer code. Quick forum search suggests the setting might be editable via expert mode. Do you know the setting that needs to be changed? Saw a lot of misses / struggles finding the setting.

If it's there and its a cut and dry change, happy to do it.

Pat

Appreciate the responses guys. From my searching this is what I've found. I too have seen all the struggles. CIC coding can be done via Bimmercode and expert mode on Audio module and but CCC can't. One post I found said you cannot change the "CDC" from "not active" to "active"

https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1499463

Post #5 states "Add $672 and remove $694 to 2URAD, CAS, FRM." and the info I got from the Mr12Volt distributor says to code $672 to the VO and remove $694

Any help appreciated. Cbozz, is this in your wheelhouse?

That sounds more like Cbozz. Those parameters probably aren't easily accessible via bimmercode. He may need to get to those via INPA instead.

Yeah I can code that for you no problem… just have to get my computer from Pat and figure out when I have the time..

So who has the laptop these days? 😜 I'm hoping to install new shocks in the next month and would like to code out edc before buying one of the cancellation kits. Also would like a couple little things done on the E46 but certainly not a priority.

Welcome! Do post pics of your ride. Maybe I've seen it around.

What area of stl do you generally frequent?

Hey everybody, I live in Maplewood and recently picked up a 2011 e91 328xi. I want to code out TPMS and activate the Flat Tire Monitor. I swapped some wheels I had laying around from my E46 M3, they don't have TPMS so now my dash light is constantly on... it's driving me crazy. Is that something you guys could help me with?

I can disable the RDC module but I'm nervous about making the code changes myself.

I'll post some photos of my cars when I get back to my home PC.

Welcome buddy and congrats on your new ride.

I've actually done this mod on my car. Cboss helped me with the coding. You'll have to also physically remove the module (located inside the trunk on the passenger side quarter label) for this to work.

Thank you! So you fully removed the module rather than just unplugging it?

IIRC you can't just unplug it. It seats into a linked tray similar to that of putting a game cassette into a Nintendo.

Hope that helps.

Quick google search will lead you to a post about this…

Welcome! I think I have a set of TPMS laying around somewhere on my garage shelves. You probably aren't thinking of installing them, but since I am selling my E93 M3 (classified ad posted in the forum), you can have the set for free if you have the time to swing around my place. LMK and I'll DM you my contact info.

Hey Cbozz, that would be awesome if we could set something up. I was basing my “unplugged” thought on this post right here: https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1487472 Reading more, you do have the remove the whole module.

Will any of you be at the European auto show at MINI of STL? It’s on June 9th.
