Definitely not trying to imply it is not a level playing field - there is nothing stopping anyone from doing that to their cars. Definitely my choice not to take the car to the maximum extent allowed by the rules. dogbone could drop a 1000hp LS motor in his car and give the top unlimited guys a run for their money, just not something he is interested in doing either (or is he - Gabe if you are give me a call and we can make it happen ). Yea it is pretty funny. I ran limited class at my region’s GTA event, and I was the only person street class or above who actually drove my car to the track…and on the tires I competed on.

next year, lets find a free e90 trunk and he can borrow my wing for the week. its an easy install with non-permanent wiring and i think he could knock a couple seconds off of a track as big as cota.

What's required to run in the Pro/Comp class. Given the gap between 1st and 2nd of 20' seems like the early route to a podium.

I’m actually not sure but that is a huge gap isn’t it. I will say that even though we had no shot of competing for a win (or even the podium) and knowing that going in I’m still very glad we went. The SLB group definitely know how to put on a good show - had a lot of fun out there.

For sure. I had a blast tuning in and out of the broadcast. Caught most of your sessions as I was following another buddy Lawrence Yuen in the yellow GT3 running limited. Looks like such a fantastic weekend. I know Ryan who took 2nd in the Pro/Comp class and he's a fantastic driver and nice dude. Still seems like back door route to a podium 😜.

The M2 looked awesome! Happy to see you giving the Supra PhD gang a run.

it can be automatic, or tuned for a specific track. he can have it give correct balance for any given corner and use it for drag reduction and make the most out of the long straights at cota. brake later with aero braking... there are no downsides, but its going to take some practice with it.

The only thing I remember from the second day's broadcast is the M4 spinning lots of times and getting a black flag, then lots of oil on track. Like it was a Porsche 944 track day level of oil spills.

Yes, someone was joking in a Discord that COTA used $10,000 worth of oil dry on that since the car was leaking for half a lap. They were trying to follow the oil line to see who did it but never could find the culprit.

It went from 12 exit all the way into pit lane - was crazy. And most of it was on the race line too. I was on grid when they black flagged the session - we all finally got out and then a minute later got the five minute call And then during one of next couple of sessions 15 got oiled down again...

From what I was told that M4 had brake issues
