I have the conti sports now and have only done a couple HPDE days on them but they were nice. Before that I had Indy 500s and they were about the same. Didn’t see the forces in the size I wanted so I have a new set of rs4s otw, boring but they work.

I like them on my 986. Also, I just put a set on my M3. I’ll get to test on Saturday on a track I’ve done thousands of laps at with the M3 on scrubs of Pirelli DH, Yoko A005 medium, and michelin S9m+; and A052, AR1, NT01, and RS4.

Just ordered a set of contis for my lapping days. I also have a backup set of rs4's to compare against. Should be an interesting comparisons.
Now the set of A7's tho… 🤔

While on the topic of tires… where do you guys like to start cold pressures, and where do you target hot on square 275 RE71's? Headed to the track Saturday. Ambient temp should be high 70's and I haven't run these tires on track before.
TIA

Hankook Motorsports recommended 32psi cold starting the day, with 38psi hot for their RS4 tire due to the weight of a stock car.

with max vehicle weight our target temp should be likee 36-40psi right? but each tire has its own max limit.. i usually do 28psi on my cold 595RSRR (back up tires) and i started to understeer in 2 laps lol. so i'm going to try 32psi. generally both my front and rear are the same also.

Track forum general chit chat.
Ha, I just bought 4 x V720 on sale.
The 305/30/19 indeed is narrow, but that works great for my 265/35/19 front. The diameter of the 305 is better for the 265 than the 295/30/19. but I don't want wide 305. I had the V720 275/35/19 on the rear and they were great as rear 200tw tire. I really liked them. I did not want to pay full price for the V720 or V730 I am not sure how good they are as front tire, for that I have the RE-71R |

On my E46 M3 which is a lighter (by about 500 lbs), starting pressures depended on the day, but usually 26-28psi cold and 33-34psi hot.

v730 has 245/35/19 which would work with 275/35/19. |
