That wasn't so bad - just a small boo boo.

Yep optional quick pit. I had to take it to since I didn't want another roasting session at pits after another black flag lol

This is a clip where I was trying to keep up with m3#86. Just out of the pits starting the lap, a pretty sizable piece of rubber kicked up, smacked me on my cheek, and wedged between my face and helmet padding. I was really happy it didn't hit me in the eye.

I immediately pitted and did the on fire dance trying to get this thing off my back. The worst thing was that it was right in the spot where it's pretty much impossible to reach over your shoulder or around your side.

Damn! That's nuts.
Can't you just hit your hazards and pull over to the shoulder? |

Visor down. You don't have to snap it shut...you can leave it cracked at the bottom for some air flow.

Thinking about the Turner aluminum rear subframe bushings, anyone know what a shop might charge to install these? Then my car is still a DD, so on the fence about diff bushings, what's the least aggressive option here? I'm okay with slight diff whine.

How many hours to drop the subframe and then do the bushings? I would figure out what is the average rate is where you live.

I think the shop quoted me 90 or 100/hour for some other work.

Well to me the subframe and bushings are a pain in the ass, so I might spend up to $400 to have it done.
Maybe someone can chime in on how long it takes, etc DIY here: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1067674 |
