back on an E92 M3

just bought a frozen blue E92 M3, found a very clean one with only 24K miles, clean carfax and very well kept so couldnt resist the temptation and here I am back in the E92 platform, just a few pictures taken by the previous owner, will take proper ones when the car arrives to Miami, so happy to be back in a V8 M3

car looks great!

its always interesting to me how many people come back to the e9x after sampling other cars. i wonder if this is common for any other makes and models...

Thank you! I still have the F82, just trying to build up a small collection of M3/M4s, each model has its own attractiveness although the best platform for my taste is the E46

Thanks everybody! Cant wait to drive it here, love all M3's but this one is special, always wanted an E92 and twice ended up ordering e93 m3's, 2nd time when i ordered my 2013 frozen black m3 it was supposed to be an e92 but production had ended by then so got an e93 again and modded it heavily (s/c, brembos, akra, etc) but never wanted to keep it bcs it was a vert, thought that will never be able to find a clean frozen e92 and this one came up so grabbed it right away, now just need to find a nice black e30 and will have my small collection complete

Congrats on the pickup, hopefully this changes your mind about the e46 now that you have a proper V8 M3.

thanks again! i already had 2 previous V8 M3s so it wont change my mind about the e46, one of the V8 M3 was even supercharged but as said before each platform has its own particularity, I am happy with all of them, the e46 is a timeless design and so well balanced IMO, here is the picture of my previous supercharged M3, I am planning to s/c this frozen blue as well

Couldn't agree more, well said. It's obvious you have experienced owning various M platforms so will toss the question out of true curiosity ; how does s/c on this chassis enhance the already amazing n/a V8? Are you planning the same ESS kit? Or do you want to go with a different company s/c to compare how they differ?

Enjoy in good health!

Thank you Sir!
The s/c transforms this engine, it is so much fun to drive it even as a daily, the power is always there, still lacks of torque but that high rev engine is amazing, i am going to go with ESS 650 kit again, it was so reliable the first time so will just stick with it, what surprised me is how low their prices have gone since i bought my first kit, that will make it easier to get one brand new kit, will try to do it within the next month or so
