Did I not tell you I got owned by a stock E92 with MP4S while running 71R front and RS4 rear? He was running 1.5 sec per lap faster and was also the fastest stock E92 on that day. Street sport Michelin tires are scary these days..

Given my tire balance was far from ideal such that I noticed RS4 doesn't light up below 10C until after 5 laps, thus puts accelerated wear on 71R since only the front grips for the first half of the session. I've also experienced a lot more understeer vs running RS4 all around. With no ABS at the time I was a lot more careful with braking but still very impressive of him.

I used to run the RS4, now if I need a street tire I see no reason to stray from the RE71r but usually run the R1, it is wonderful

How did you not have ABS? I had an accident this year at a track when I did not know the car didn't have ABS... an interesting video for sure

The usual ABS pump seizure. I had trinity of warning lights

I replaced with an '08+ pump and it's up and running again. Might send the original unit for repair so I can put them back in when this one goes out.
