Inresponsive throttle

I’ve been noticed sometimes when I lifted off the throttle the car will keen going for like half a second before it slow down. I first noticed it a few weeks ago at a car park when I was traveling slowly in 2nd. Today I went for a drive in the mountain and I was at a long corner which I need to lift off the throttle a little bit but the car just keep going which become a bit scary. I did a few tests after and I feel the throttle will stay open for about half a second after I lift off.
Does this ever happen to anyone here? Any suggestions what might be wrong?

My M3 is 2008 E92 6 speed done 45,000km

So, I’ve also noticed this behavior in mine recently. On the plus side, it’s super smooth when coming off the throttle. On the minus side, it’s incredibly annoying not having the car engine brake properly.

It’s not throwing any codes, but I’m wondering if this is a funky throttle actuator issue? I probably ought to try throwing my spare set in to see.

What about a failing gas pedal? TA's throw codes like it's Christmas. A faulty pedal signal is a possibility. I believe both would throw codes though. Also what shift mode are you when this happens? S1 & S2 are painfully slow and very unresponsive throttle wise?

This is the problem with drive by wire vs an actual analog throttle cable.

Think 737 SuperMax.

The US Navy also recently announced a return to mechanical linkages after a recent fatal accident where the push button screen was slow to respond.

I have had the same issue pop up since I replaced both of my TAs a few weeks ago after the Christmas lights showed up. Could this be related to some TA coding issues??? Would hate to have to take the car to the dealer for a full examination and multi-hours search.

In D2 my car will coast as if I never let off the throttle for a second before actually coasting. This doesn't happen when I have M mode and MDM on, only when the car is doing all the tranny work. I suspect its just the way the trans works? Idk. 75K miles on my car with original TA if it matters.
