NON-ZCP's with Eibach Springs

I recently got my late production 2011 E90 M3 NON-ZCP not competition package (without leveling control) for Eibach Pro-Kit springs with E36 pump-stops..

After reading many posts I am still confused about the need to change front shocks to Bilstein's PSS or the stock ones will do! Some say since my car is not competition I need to get the Bilisteins!!

Agree or disagree?

Thanks

Well, it depends. Are you experiencing any ill handling affects from the springs? The stock shocks are aluminum bodied shocks. The Bilsteins are steel, iirc. So, if you want more weight to take care of something that isn't affecting your handling, you can. And PSS' come with springs, so your friend's recommendation makes no sense...

When the stock ones wear or if they are causing ill handling, then a shorter bodied shock would probably be a good idea. I'd look at Koni's too. If you are planning on tracking the car a lot, then you'll probably end up with coilovers anyway, so no issue there.

Let us know if you notice any iffy handling issues (and the mileage of your car).

The Eibach springs will work just fine with your stock shocks. The Pro-Kit is designed and tested around the factory shocks and suspension travel. Lots of guys track with this set up in California with excellent results. You don't need to buy aftermarket shocks.

I wont be tracking, Jordan is all bumpy and hilly. So probably with stick to the stock shocks on eibach pro kit for now and see how it goes.

Eibach springs are nice. You'll like them a lot. Post pics!
