#help. advice wanted.

So Ive been shopping for an alpine white e92 m3 coupe (around 35-40k miles, cf roof and 6mt is a must) loaded for quite sometime now and I expressed my frustration with how difficult it was to find one to my good friend last night and he asked me why dont I buy a non alpine white one and just wrap it in matte white so I could have the white m3 ive always wanted. Anybody have experience with wrapping their m3? Should I just do that? Or should I keep holding out for the right AW one ive been waiting to come along. Im looking to spend anywhere from 37k-41k stock depending on mileage. Please kick me your thoughts and opinions. Thanks everyone.

Probably should check the gallery section for pics of wrapped cars.

I personally would not do it. I think it's tacky on such a high end vehicle. Since you are spending the money, you should hold out. AW is the most common color, so finding one shouldn't be that hard.

I agree with tech. I would wait.
I've also been looking for the exact car you described for about 3 months.
As tech said, AW is the most common color but your price point is limiting your search.
Most AW 6MT with 35k avg miles i see are at least mid 40's
Gotta pay to play I guess.

Thanks tech and thanks iggie/igo. I just missed a deal on dennys e92 m3 aw with cf roof in sf when he sold around new yrs for 39.5 with his wheels. His had 45k miles. And his was a cali car. I know it was a good deal. Missed it because I wanted it with stock wheels and he preferred to sell with rims. Next time im just going to sell the wheels after if I come up on another similar situation. If its the right one id consider paying a bit more. I was kinda feeling same way about the wrap. Im just getting impatient lol. I actually dream of the car sometimes. How shallow of me right? Lol jk. anyways thanks for the input... my bro whos an engineer told me the same thing you guys are too... he said if im patient and wait and maybe pay a little more ill be happier in the long run. Thank you guys very much for the advice again. Im going on vacay the 28th and when I come back im determined to find that alpine white one hopefully by end of march. Good luck finding also igg!
