I need to get out there at some point.

Have you thought of going for GRP doors? With mine being a race car, I couldn’t bare to use CF doors and have someone drive into me and smash them. Especially as GRP doors are around £400 and very similar in weight

I’ve been putting together a diff cooling pack for my car, so let me know if you need it or guidance on what to buy. I’ve seen far too many cars piss diff oil after a bit of abuse.

You will get there, it won’t take long at all to get up to speed on track.

The standard diff ratio if I remember rightly is 3.154 and with the setup like it is there is a bit too much preload. In regards to the mapping, I’ve gone with a Syvec stand alone ecu to operate the car and Syvec H Pro to run the DCT box. So it’s getting mapped anyway. I’ve got some pics of the data pull of using the 4.1 and it’s perfect for the ring and Spa
Just realised who you are mate after seeing your build thread. I love what you've done with yours. That's the direction I want to take mine throughout 2018. I saw your post on Trackstromers about your livery. Have you got the issue sorted yet?

Haha! Yea, I’m quite well known when people realise who I am. If you need any pointers don’t hesitate to ask, probably easier to drop me a message on Facebook! No I’m still fighting to get that done, currently sorting out another company to get the job done

I have the 3.45 final drive gears on my e92 m3. These were installed by the previous owner and came from Dinan who later indicated to me that this was a BMW Motorsport sourced gearset that is no longer made. This gearset has worked well on my car with both the standard OE DCT tune and now the OE GTS DCT tune.

It's possible driftflo may have some used sets for sale.

Good info on final drive gears in this thread, LINK.
He does/did.

The carbon intake arrived today from Tegiwa Euro. Just waiting on the AP's to arrive now to replace the brembo's so I can come down to 18in wheels. Once the brakes turn up then the car will be going back in to have the Intrax 4 way, carbon intake, brakes and new wheels fitted. Once the suspension has been dialed in and corner weighting done then we'll find out what she's like on track.

Any change in induction noise with that intake? Where'd you get it?

Hi mate,

I'll have some updates in a couple of weeks. Just been a bit busy house hunting for a place in California and there's a waiting list to get the car in at a specialist over here in the UK to get the suspension dialed in and corner weighted etc. Also waiting on a designer who's doing some BMW Motorsport decals for the car too.

I'm off to view a Ferrari 360 Challenge Cup car tomorrow morning. So potentially another track car to keep the M3 company when I'm not in the UK.

Yeah the red 360 challenge cup car. With it being left hand drive I figured I could store it at the Nurburgring and/or ship it out to California. Missed out on it though. I wanted to negotiate on the price factoring an engine rebuild and someone whacked a deposit straight down on it. They probably did me a favour. I just sold a 991 here in the UK to buy one out in California and then I was gonna blow that money in on a non road legal race car that would of been a money pit.

The 2 week update will now be a 2 month update. Just been told I have to wait 60 days for my wheels as APEX need to make another batch.

This is what's happening with the car...

1. Rear subframe is being solid mounted
2. Rear axle is being solid mounted
3. Front end all polly bushes
5. All rear arms replaced with bimmer world adjustable race arms
6. Intrax 4 way being installed
7. Brembo brakes coming off and AP racing brakes installed
8. 18in Apex ACR-8 wheels, 10in at the front, 10.5in at the back
9. Carbon fiber airbox and intake installed
10. Varis vented hood
11. Corner weighting and suspension tuning
12. BMW motorsport & Akrapovic decals

Also this is what might happen as I haven't decided yet

1. Drexler diff
2. Vorsteiner CSL carbon fiber truck

Why did you change to AP when you already had the Brembo? Curious.

The Brembo's are too big to fit under 18in wheels. Originally I was going to stay on the 19in competition pack wheels but I'm putting 18in Apex ACR-8's on now.

Parts for the rear end. I'm going to give the green light for the Drexler 3.61 LSD too. From what I've been researching, a stock e92 m3 with a 3.62 LSD will pull harder than a C63 AMG. So it should be sweet as the car is decatted, with under pullies, carbon intake/airbox and has a stage 2 remap.

The car is going to have a bespoke remap done as the evolve remap has been a bit of nightmare with their over run map.

Did you put schrick on yours mate? I remember seeing you posting something about it on Track Stormers. If so, did it make a big difference? Thinking about doing it to compliment the drexler diff.

Not yet, I have them in my possession, and they'll be installed soon. Was due to be this week but yet something else has got in the way. Hoping to get them in before the end of March.
